Trinity

There is this one, the sweetest of them,
Walked in my life, with open arms, huge smile.
She reminds me of all that is pure in this world,
Says maturity is overrated, sometimes it's good to be puerile.

Then there is this one, the loveliest of them,
Wits and beauty laid claim to this heart, became it's lord.
Enchanted though I am, but never has this been clearer,
True love is never unrequited, for her happiness is my reward.

And then there is the one, the truest of them,
Without exceptions she caught me, every time I fell.
Loved me, chided me, defined and refined me all these years,
No better title defines her significance, than a guardian angel.

Three does the trick, or so I've always been told.
This trinity is all I require, to be happy, to be whole.
